Clover Street Vets

Principal Vet

Ms. Lina Vatkeviciute DVM MRCVS OV

Lina

Since my qualification in 2006 I have been working in mixed animal practice and joined the Mote Park Vet Group in 2013. I extremely enjoy my work, especially spending time in an operating theatre. Cuddles with puppies and kittens are always highlights of my day! Last year I became a clinical coach for our trainee nurses, this experience has been very rewarding as well as challenging sometimes. I have a fairly busy household of 3 girls, 2 dogs, a cat, 2 guinea pigs and 4 fish. So with a full time job I do not really have time for any hobbies as such. When I do find peace and quiet once in a while I do enjoy reading a good book though.

Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah, I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and have been working as a vet at Mote Park Vets since July 2018. I have a particular interest in emergency and critical care cases.

I have 2 cheeky Jack Russells named Poppy and Ralph who are always up to mischief! I look forward to meeting you and your animals!

Franco Cortesini BVetMed PhD MRCVS

Franco

I studied at Perugia Veterinary University in Italy, graduating in 2005. I continued my education with a post-graduate master degree in soft tissue surgery (SCIVAC, Cremona, Italy).
I've spent many nights working at out-of-hours emergency clinics being interested in emergency surgery. I've completed a post-graduate certification in small animal surgery in October 2017 (including advanced soft tissue, advanced emergency and orthopaedic surgery). I'm very interested in diagnostic imaging especially ultrasound.

I love to play tennis and football, and to listen to music.

Mr. Fiachra Fallon MVB MRCVS

Fiachra

Hi I'm Fiachra, I originally come from Co. Offaly in Ireland. During school all I wanted to be was a vet, so I was lucky enough to get into college to study it. I graduated from UCD in Dublin in 2013 and worked in a mixed practice in rural Ireland until January this year. I decided large animal work wasn't for me and life was also a bit quiet there, so I opted for a change! I ended up here in Maidstone and am loving it so far! I brought my 2 cats over with me and they have settled in well. They were both found on the road as kittens and brought into my previous work place, so I adopted them and they are very much enjoying life in Maidstone! I look forward to meeting you all and helping give your pets the care they deserve!

Hi I'm Wallace I have been with the Mote Park Vet Group since 2012. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2016. I absolutely love my job and see all types of patients, particularly grumpy cats! Katie Hogan

Katie

Hi, I'm Katie and I have been working for the Mote Park Veterinary Group since October 2016. I have worked at all the different branches but joined Clover Street in June. I have been nursing for about 12 years and love what I do. I particularly love cats, I have 3 of my own which were all strays for various reasons and a lodger that has made himself comfy in our house for the last 3 years. My dream is to have my own cattery one day but for now I'm enjoying taking care of everyone else's. I hope to continue in this field of work for a very long time as I find it very rewarding.

Kimberly Balcomb

My favourite animals would be birds having kept quite a few over the years. In the future I would love to work with exotics such as birds, snakes and lizards! I hope to see you and your pets at the practice!

I am mummy to two amazing fluffy labrador cross poodles who definitely keep me on my toes! I love my job and there are so many reasons as to why I love what I do. One of those reasons is meeting new people and their beloved pets so if I haven't met you yet I look forward to meeting you in the future!
